Upcoming classes

On Tuesday 31 Aug we did groin kicks and groin kick-punch combinations. A groin kick is an effective, but underrated weapon. For "homework" please practice the groin kick-punch combinations, focusing on landing the punch as your front foot reaches the ground.

Remember a key principle we discussed in class -- whether kicking or punching, you want to strike "past the target" [i.e. if kicking to the groin, aim for the chest, with the groin 'interrupting' the path of your foot] and bring your fist or foot back quickly. This creates maximum impact and brings you back into your fight stance quickly.

For class on Tuesday 7th, I'm planning to do more kicks.

Just a reminder also that I have to travel to Sydney on Friday 27 August and Friday 3rd September, so classes will not be held on these days. However, classes will be held as normal on Tuesday 24 August and Tuesday 31 August.
Friday classes will resume Fri 10th September.
